Hereby we send you a quick round of short, yet important informs. We wish you all good luck with midterms and papers!

Open day

Tomorrow, March 15th, is the UCU Open Day. In regard of this, there will be no brunch served in Dining Hall. Instead, lunch packets will be provided from 10:30-12:00 at the back entrance of Dining Hall. It is at the same place it was as last Open Days, namely the entrance of the summer storage place or the Beach Party entrance. Please bring your XS-card, as it is essential for getting your lunch packet.

Community Service

There are several projects coming up in collaboration with Nationale Jeugdraad. The first would be on the 15th of April, 21st and 24th. We will need UCU volunteers for the project. Again unfortunately it is only for Dutch speakers, however, we are preparing with the same organization an international volunteer program for this summer in which Dutch and non-Dutch speakers could be involved. If you are interested in experiencing something new and expanding your horizon and work with underprivileged kids then send an email back and we will contact you with further information.

Agora March 12th

Coming Wednesday, on the 12th of March, the AGORA will take place at 19:30 in the Auditorium. The Dean and Director of Education will be on stage, ready for the debate. What is your opinion on your own leadership? What do you think about redefining the front door? Come to the Agora and tell the people with power at UC your vision while they tell you theirs.

Agora Poll

On our website www.ucstudents.nl YOU can decide on the 3rd topic of the Agora. What lies closer to your heart: civic engagement, stress-relieve or that classes should be non-obligatory. The poll will close at Wednesday noon, so be quick to add your vote. We highly encourage all students to come to the AGORA and fire away your questions!

Quite recently you’ve received an e-mail encouraging you to fill in the UCU Questionnaire. This is THE moment for you to give your feedback on Dinning Hall, living on campus, etc. Be of aid to yourself, ASIC and all UC Students to follow after you. Bike pumps

After having concluded that the bike pumps placed outside of G, K, and Kromhout break constantly; ASIC thought it would be nice and perhaps more effective to have a bike pump in every unit! We communicated this idea to Volksbelang, but it was rejected due to financial and logistic problems. However, you can always come to the ASIC office during office hours if you wish to pump your bike. Soon we will put some new bike pumps outside of K, G, and Kromhout again. Soon. Really. We will.
