At the beginning of the new academic year, the lounges in the academic buildings were in a sorry state. The creation of Newton’s lounge on the ground floor was started short before summer 2009, and will soon be finished. It has both a high table and some couches. A drinks machine has been put into place and a coffee machine will follow soon. Next to that, you will soon be able to find the newest editions of scientific magazines like New Scientist and Science in the lounge

Locke’s lounge has recently been furnished with new couches and chairs, making it a great place to hang out during class breaks.
