At the end of 2008-2009 ASIC year, although many projects never saw their completion within their time, they were proud to present to you some of their achievements:

Acedemic Achievements:

- Chinese now counted as language exit requirement

- Agreement to work towards a standardized exit level for language requirements

- Thesis Awards

- Additional mid-term evaluation

- Improved Booksales services - fewer lines and more sales!

Non Academic

- Improved DH, Quality of Food, Choice and worked towards getting meal plans

- Installed a ASIC Wireless network in Voltaire

- Obtained a promise that the Campus will have wireless by the end of 2009

- Obtained autonomy for gym (saved UC 10.000 euro a year)

- Set up and effectively launched our Community Service Projects:

- Anglia

- Cultural Cookery

- and created a Community Service Team which will continue to expand out portofolio

- Obtained promise that the Dining Hall Lounge will be constructed over summer

- Put a Fuss Bal Table in DH Lounge

 - Speakers in DH lounge

 - We improved quality and increased quantity of our services


- Gave students access to meditation room


- Centralized Lost and Found

 It is up for the new 2009-2010 board to carry on their work but for 2008-2009, ASIC has definitely had you covered!
