The British Council is looking for suitably qualified individuals to join our team of invigilators for the Cambridge English exams in Utrecht on 8 and 9 December 2009.

The exams are held in March, May/June and December.  Our exams venue is Aristo Utrecht, Brennerbaan 150, Utrecht-Lunetten.

We expect you to be:

*       reliable 
*       accurate 
*       flexible 
*       showing initiative 
*       reasonably fluent in English

In the month of December we have nearly 700 candidates for the Cambridge Exams. Most of the candidates will be sitting their exams in Aristo Utrecht, but there are also large groups sitting the exams on school premises in other places. The invigilators doing the exams on school premises must be experienced invigilators. In Aristo Utrecht we can invite new invigilators and guide them properly on 8 and 9 December.

In summertime (June 2010) we will be dealing with about 1500 candidates, who will have to be examined throughout the month of June, both in Utrecht and on school premises in the provinces of Utrecht and Gelderland. In that time of the year we can offer experienced invigilators many working days.

The working hours are as follows : the exams start at 09.00 hrs and end by 16.00 hrs. Invigilators must arrive one hour prior to the start to prepare the exam rooms etc. Those days involve 8 working hours and the fee is Euro 11,- per hour . Travel expenses by public transport are paid for if you can submit the tickets.
