Improving Masters Information
Although you might not want to think about it now, there will come a time (for some very soon), when your wonderful time here at UCU will come to an end; you’ll have to go into the real world and possibly apply for a master.
However, it is often the case that students have no clue how difficult and time consuming it is to find the right program and, as always, ASIC is here to have you covered!
We are currently working together with the administration on a project to improve master information on campus.
The first step of this project is the creation of a Masters Information Booklet, containing the basic skills you need to find your masters, tips and tricks about the application procedures, useful databases, websites, requirements and interviews.
We really want to finish this booklet by the end of November so it would still be useful to 3rd year students graduating this academic year.
Although it is an ambitious deadline, we are really committed to it and we need your help, ideas, information and feedback in order to make this a complete and useful document for you, the students.
We have therefore uploaded two documents on the website: our action plan and a contents page for the main issues we want to put in the booklet. It is very basic at this point so we need your feedback, comments and additions to it.
You can access the two documents here:
