What do we do?
Office hours: You can always approach us with any problem or question you have. If you have a complaint or remark about a course or a professor, please let us know and we will together look for a solution.
Lunches: Throughout the semester, several informal lunch meetings will be organized. Professors will be invited to give you the opportunity to discuss any interesting issue. Pay attention to the posters that announce these lunches and make sure you attend.
Lectures: Events such as lectures, mini-symposiums and discussions with renowned professors, politicians or business people will be organized. These are perfect occasions to express your critical opinion and to discuss more specific topics.
Track Days: Do you also wonder which courses you have to take for a specific master? During the Track Days, professors will provide you with information and tips about which courses to take.
Internship Fairs: As we have long breaks, this is the perfect opportunity for you to apply what you have learned by going on internship. During the Internship Fair, you can have a look at all options offered by UCU and ask questions about your own ideas.
In addition, we will provide useful information via the Social Science Workspace and we will keep you up to date with SSC Newsletters.
SSC Students Workspace
Everyone can become a member of the SSC students workspace, created to provide you with relevant information on academic issues. You can find information on Masters programs, off campus courses, minutes of the SSC lunches, and, in the future, other information on this workspace. The Head of Department will also use it for making announcements. Not signed up yet? Ask your tutor to make you a member!
